Welcome to Derma Associats, integrated dermatology in the Teknon Clinic.

Derma Associats has a team of dermatologists, doctors and surgeons who offer their patients an integrated specialist service for skin disorders and diseases. It is located in the Centro Médico Teknon, its home since it was founded.

More than 30 years of experience endorse a highly qualified team of professionals who are able to respond to any and all of the alterations which can affect the skin, nails or hair, whether with a clinical, surgical or aesthetic solution.

Our facilities, located in the prestigious Centro Médico Teknon, allow us to provide the most advanced personalized service, both for outpatients and inpatients. We can perform the most suitable tests for each particular case and apply the appropriate treatment without limitations or unnecessary referrals.

Dra. Inma Coronas Guinart

Dr Coronas has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and is a specialist in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and Venereology. With a Master’s in Photomedicine and Laser, she has extensive experience in dealing with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and personalized anti-ageing treatments. She is a founding member of Derma Associats.

Dr. Joan Ramon Garcés Gatnau

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad de Barcelona and a specialist in Medical and Surgical Dermatology, Dr Garcés’ particular focus is the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He is Clinical Chief of the Dermatology Service at Hospital de Sant Pau, where he is responsible for cutaneous oncology surgery and the Mohs Surgery Unit. He is a founding member of Derma Associats.

Dra. Cristina Pla

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a specialist in in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, Dr Pla works in both pediatric dermatology, treating atopic dermatitis, molluscums, warts and cutaneous infections, and adult dermatology, treating acne, psoriasis, dermatitis, alopecia and cutaneous tumors.

Dr. Joan Dalmau

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Dr Dalmau has a special interest in pigmented lesions (moles and freckles), cutaneous oncology, dermatological surgery and photodynamic therapy. He is currently Associate Physician to the Dermatology Service at Hospital de Sant Pau, where he focuses on the diagnosis, management and monitoring of melanomas.

Dra. Teresa Sallés

Dr Sallés has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and is a specialist in General and Digestive Surgery. Highly qualified in surgical techniques and laser treatments, her particular focus is dermatological surgery in all its categories as well as individualized anti-ageing treatments and integrated aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Xavier Garcia Navarro

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a specialist in in Medical and Surgical Dermatology at Hospital de Sant Pau, Dr García Navarro focuses especially on inflammatory and auto-immune skin diseases and disorders, including atopic dermatitis, eczemas, psoriasis and lupus, as well as dermatological surgery. He is currently Associate Physician to the Consorci Sanitari del Garraf.

Dra. Alba Català

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a specialist in in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, Dr Català has actively participated in different research protocols on psoriasis management, pediatric hemangiomas and infectious-contagious diseases, specifically sexual diseases. She is Coordinator of the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Unit at the Centro Médico Teknon (UITS Teknon).

Dra. Cristina San José

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad de Barcelona and a Master’s in Nutrition
and Food Science from the Pharmacy Faculty of the Universidad de Barcelona, Dr San José works exclusively in the specialist field of Facial Rejuvenation and Nutritional Assessment. She delivers theoretical and practical training courses on the different areas of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dra. Miriam Sidro

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a specialist in in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, Dr Sidro’s special focus is on inflammatory skin disorders, such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, and pigmented lesions. She is currently Associate Physician to the Fundació Hospital Esperit Sant.

Dra. Ruiz

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a specialist in in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and Urology, Dr Ruiz has a special interest in managing skin cancer and in dermatological surgery. She has actively participated in different clinical trials and published articles on locally advanced and metastatic basal cell carcinomas. She is presently Associate Physician to Hospital de Sant Pau, where she mainly practices in the Cutaneous Oncology and Mohs Surgery Department.

Dra. Eva Vilarrasa

A specialist in Dermatology at Hospital de Sant Pau, Dr Vilarrasa completed her medical training in aesthetic dermatology, oncology and Mohs surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and in dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology (New York, USA). She is currently Associate Physician to Hospital de Sant Pau, where she practices in the Hidradenitis and Cutaneous Oncology and Mohs Surgery Departments.
